Katy is now 1140g which is 2lb8.5oz.She is still off CPAP and coping well with her oxygen around 25%. We had a bit of a scare when she tried 2 hourly feeds and required extra oxygen. They took some blood and decided they wanted to do a lumbar puncture (a needle into the spine to get fluid) aswell. We were not happy with this so we went to the hospital to meet with the registar and they delayed it for 12 hrs. Katy was fine that night and the next day they cancelled the lumbar puncture. Hooray!
She is doing well today (feeling better than daddy and uncle chris who went to a concert last night!). Rock and roll!!

Wow guys I havn't signed into the blog for a week or so and I cant believe how big she is, Katy looks so different her face has changed so much, Its truly fantastic to see her doing so well, you will be home in no time. Im glad to see you keeping the nurses in check, all 3 of you look so well, I cant wait to meet her, will be in touch Leanne, lol Claire and Steve xxx

DUDES!!! I miss you all so much. Katy is so so beautiful. I can not stop talking about her and I feel so happy and so proud when her name passes my lips, or a thought of yous comes into my head and rests in my heart. I am working so much lately, but I really want to visit SOON!!!

She looks gorgeous, sounds like a real fighter and with parents like you she'll be just fine! I haven't been able to log on for a while. What a lovely surprise to see how big she's getting! Its cheered me up nicely at the end of my very long night shift! Hope to see you all soon,
