Happy birthday Great Grandpa!

Katy was much more lively today.

When we left, the medics were trying to put two new lines in, she was not co-operating. It is amazing to think that they can fit a plastic tube into her tiny blood vessels.

No other new news from earlier. We managed to get home earlier tonight and have enjoyed a scrummy lasagne cooked by Grandma Alison. We are both much happier, yesterday was tough.

We are in it for the long haul...

Hello Katy! Hello Mark and Leanne!

Uncle Chris and Aunty Helen are safe back in York after a wonderful, but eye-opening visit to see you today. We are so proud of you guys for hanging in there and being amazing parents to Katy. She's certainly very lucky to have you.
We hope you liked your card and make sure you read Katy's card to her as well :-)
For those of you haven't seen Katy yet, Mark and Leanne have every right to be proud and brag about her - she really is a beautiful little thing!

Lots of love,
Chris and Helen :-)

Congrats on the birth of your beautiful daughter Katy, who from all counts sounds like she is as stubborn and determined as her parents to fight as she can. All three of you take care, our thoughts are with you all. Luv Sue and Ken in Cardiff
